I address the citizens from Milan and not just these people, the people I
meet every day on the street, on public transport, the workers, students,
homemakers, senior citizens, always in a rush, to ask you to sop for a
moment and listen to us: we are not here to show our pain in having lost a
husband, a wife, a son, a father, a mother, no..we are here to remember our
loved ones, the majority on a business trip, to study, honeymoon, common
people like me, like you, who were killed, victims of an avoidable accident,
who died strapped in their seatbelts, without the chance to escape. Men,
women, children, whose identifiable features were ripped away, many of them
unrecognisable, burnt beyond recognition, legless corpes, some without
hands. We are their voice that shouts out for justice..justice for having
taken away the youths from their own lives, justice for having ripped them
away from their families, justice for not seeing their own children being
born and growing up. We are their voice that shouts: YOU must see that a
similar tragedy does not happen again, that our lives serve at least to save
other lives. An airport like Linate is managed by those shown incapable of
understanding the great responsibility of supervising air traffic that
involves a large movement of human beings and additionally, putting many
travellers in risk of runway collisions, with small commuter aircraft.
Linate Airport should return to being trustworthy, the airport of so many
citizens, and not of the few..IN THE FACE OF DEATH WE ARE ALL EQUAL.Remember
what I owe you.like this for all.

Ciao Donatella,volevo ringraziarti per il tuo intervento di martedì. Sei riuscita a trasmettere con chiarezza e con grande forza quello che sento dentro da un anno (come credo la maggiorparte di noi). Sono convinto che la tua sferzata sia arrivata dritta a tutte le persone che operano in posizioni di responsabilità e, come minimo, le abbia messe in discussione.Ti auguro che questa forza non ti manchi mai, e ti abbraccio fortemente.

anch´io desidero farti tanti complimenti per il tuo bellissimo messaggio che arriva da una donna giovane, esile, ma tanto tanto forte.
Sei riuscita, con poche, semplici frasi a dire tutto quello che noi tutti avremmo voluto dire e denunciare.
Il tuo messaggio ha reso il memorial day ancor più vibrante e commosso.
